Rare track version of the road sports car - McLaren P1 GTR

The McLaren P1 GTR, the company's 2015 track car, is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 combined with an electric motor for a combined output of 986 horsepower. It is capable of 0-60 mph acceleration in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 225 mph (360 km/h).

McLaren has historically built just 58 track-focused P1 GTRs, some of which were converted into road-legal sports cars by the big-name British Lanzante. Modifications include installing the necessary catalytic converters to comply with emissions regulations, installing the handbrake and raising the ride height.

This rare street-legal McLaren P1 GTR is the company's 28th car, chassis number 18. Available in a matte black and red body color, the car has just 179 miles of range and an asking price of $3.85 million.
