John W. Berryman was born and grew up in Bethel. He worked for a contractor for many years before he decided to create his own clothing line. It was this desire to help other people, that motivated him to open his own business and to create the Alpha Model Show. He knew that he had the passion and the talent to make it successful. After setting up his shop in a small strip mall, just a few blocks from his home, it just didn't take long for him to get noticed.

The Alpha Model Show was a huge success for John W. Berryman. He was so successful that he opened up four more locations in fifteen years. He became a household name for men everywhere. He also developed an extensive line of clothing and accessories, which he marketed directly through his clothing store.
